van der Veen Named Super Lawyer by Law & Politics for Third Year

PHILADELPHIA: Attorney Michael T. van der Veen has once again been named a “Pennsylvania Super Lawyer” by his peers in the legal profession. 2007 is the third consecutive year Attorney van der Veen has received the honor. Each year, Pennsylvania’s top lawyers are rated by their peers with only the top 5 percent being designated a “Super Lawyer”.

According to the “Super Lawyer” designation recently published in Philadelphia magazine, “In a world where pure litigators are becoming extinct, Michael van der Veen dominates the civil and criminal courts….He has established a reputation for winning multimillion-dollar jury verdicts, as well as major criminal jury trials.”

Among the professional accomplishments that won van der Veen this honor were his winning a $10 million verdict for a brain-damaged child struck by a tractor-trailer and dismissal of murder and manslaughter charges in a highly publicized vehicular homicide case that same year.
